Anyone mispronounce "Reese's"?

    I too hate poor grammar, especially the wrong forms of too, to, two and they're, there, their.... and people that call Reese's "Reesey" also. So, looks like this thread is a "Win" IMO. :cool:

    I'm from Ga. Once visiting the wife's people in Conn., we stopped in a deli for lunch. I ordered a # 10. Guy had no idea what I was asking for. IDK maybe it sounded like tin instead of ten. Maybe he thought I wanted some aluminum. The wife had to tell him I wanted a 'ten'. When I went to pay, it was a different guy and he did the same thing. Do tin and ten really sound that much different that they couldn't figure it out?

    I dont know how they would be pronounced differently? I just said both of them out loud and they sound exactly the same...

    I know. I don't think I can pronounce them differently. I've tried. My wife and her mother say there is a difference. Damn yankees.
