Hello all! I've got a bit of a question. So I have a 2007 2wd 5 lug regular cab, and I want to stiffen up the back and lift it a bit too. It being a 5 lug, it has a spring under axle suspension configuration. People have suggested a "add a leaf" kit. To my understanding, this works by adding in a stiffer spring to help with sagging when loaded or towing. In theory, the stiffer spring should compensate for the weight of the truck, therefore lifting it, right? Even with it being a spring under axle? I've got a 3" spacer in the front, so it's just a tad taller up front than in the back. With the nearing addition of a heavy duty rear bumper (110lbs), I'm expecting a little more sag than normal. Will this help? Thanks for the help in advance! You guys rock.

Will that work for a axle over setup like my truck?

Doesn't it say its for 5 lug trucks?

It does, but in the installation PDF it shows the springs on top.

Maybe they just use one manual for both.

I mean, I'd imagine it'd do the same thing. Stiffer suspension = less sag = slightly higher in the rear? Right?
