OEM Plus has by far the best customer service I have ever experienced. They worked with me unconditionally to fine tune the Amplifier to my liking. The issues I had was not enough sound from the rear speakers and too much midrange levels. Finally after several updates, they got it as close as possible to my preference. This system rocks and sounds spectacular....

What did they do to get you more sound in the rear speakers?

I installed the C3 system with no sub because I needed the space. I can hear the lack of a sub, but the system sounds pretty great to me. I would have added the OEM sub, but I really needed the space. Still a huge upgrade over the factory system

@zerospeed i'm very interested in the OEM plus, but was going to check with them see if they would just sell me the door speakers. The factory head unit with the door speakers were an improvement is that correct from what I read of your review? I like the fact of the OEM connectors in the basket hooks etc. they look great quality, don't really want to

That is correct, I installed the speakers 1st and noticed the improvement in sound. I can not honestly remember what sounded better about the speakers, just remember they did. I do feel that they need the dsp amp with equalization optimized for each application.

You can go to their online store and check pricing or better yet, just pick up the phone and call and ask to speak with Daniel! I am not sure if he will recomend just the drivers alone. If you do speak to him, let him know you were refered by the "guy with the missing back panel on his D-Cab".

If you end up pulling the door panels, I do suggest you put some sound damping material in the doors.

Hope this helps. As others have mentioned, my system sound great!

Does any one know if they sell their speakers separately or only as a kit?

The kit I have is all the speakers and tweeters, and then the under seat amp.
You will want the amp to get the most out of the system design.

Thanks for the response and recommendation. Is your setup what another user called the "C3 system"?

Mind if I ask how you like it without the sub? Or if you already shared your feedback, let me know where to look. Thanks in advance!

Sub will obviously improve things but it’s 100% not necessary for me.
    The sound quality is amazing.
Bass is solid even at high volume. No blow outs on the audio. And still works with all the factory shifting of audio bias in the cab
