I have a '14 DCSB Sport with Icon suspension and Camberg UCAs. The shocks were serviced a couple of months ago right before I bought it with 28,000km on it. I don't remember any noise when I first drove it but eventually I was hearing a clunk/squeak from the front, both sides. I had the nitrogen checked and it was properly pressurized. Nothing appears loose. Here's a video, you can really hear it when I drop the tire off a curb.

Any thoughts? Is it suppose to sound like this? In the meantime, the GoPro may be picking up the sound from anywhere but it seems to go along with the suspension working.

You may notice grease on the ball joint boot. The boot failed and a new ball joint is OTW. There is no play in the wheel when jacked up and I'm keeping the grease to it until the new one comes.

I've got a different squeak in my truck from the front, it's loud but not that loud, I thought mine was pretty bad though so I still feel embarrassed driving around, especially in my University parking garage because it echoes.

I'm having similar issues. I just installed icon stage 1 with tc uca. Mine is only on the passenger side. It comes and goes. Usually at low speeds but maybe I can't hear at high speeds. Still trying to figure it out.

If you're referring to the UCA ball joint, the other side is making the same noise and that ball joint boot is not cracked.

I agree. The uni balls need to be properly lubricated with PTFE lubricant which is a dry lubricant. And it also cleans out the area around the uni ball. There is no boot or grease up above on the Camburg UCA's. Other than where the bushings are with the zirk fittings. Mine were making noise and I've been using that lubricant and the noise is gone now. I have a 1st gen so the uni balls on my UCA's, you can't get covers for. But I've seen on Camburg's website 2nd & 3rd gen Camburg UCA's, you can buy covers for the uni balls to keep all the sand, dirt etc. out. When that stuff gets in there it is like metal rubbing on metal.

Same exact squeak I have. I spread a little chain lube on the shock shaft, making sure to hit the seal, and that takes care if it. But, after a wash it comes back. I contacted Icon and they said the seals can be a little noisy when new; only time will tell if it goes away. For now, I'll just spread some lube on the shafts after a wash. I'm using using Prolink that I had in the garage for bikes, not sure if anything is better, but I don't want anything too tacky that collects dirt either.

Is it a PTFE lubricant? Like a dry lubricant that dries right away? Cause that is what I use on the UCA's uni ball. And they said it's used on bicycle chains. Like mentioned above I also can move my bumper up & down and it makes that squeaky noise. But the squeak is gone now. My coil overs are brand new and this is the first rain they been through and the squeak started till I sprayed that stuff onto the uni ball and now the squeak is gone. Can I use this on the shock shaft?

Thanks, Mark. Did the same and after working the suspension up/down, the squeak went away. Will see how long this fix lasts.

Bump. Still can't figure it out but not sure what else to try besides replacing them to see if the noise is still there.
