I am currently in the market for a 2009 TRD Sport. I am looking at a used one at innovative motorsports in Lindon, Utah. I ran a auto report and found out it has been imported from Canada and was sold to this dealership at an auto auction.

I am wondering if there are some major red flags with this purchase or what the Tacoma world would recommend doing?

    Cheers,

    KGS

Check the frame. Specifically the inside vertical boxed section by the catalytic convertors, where it comes down from the motor compartment. If you see any scaling there, or if the frame is coated with a dried tar like substance, I would avoid it.
