Tracy from AllPro got back to me about price. It's $100 more than their regular pack rack.

Hasn't been tested on Bestop though...

The SOS concepts one works on the bestop and softopper and he makes one that isn't a true bed rack but over the softopper bed bars that I'll be purchasing in the near future. They'll also make some changes to the design to fit your needs if you email him. I've seen one that had rotopax mounts on one side and a hilift mount on the other

Would they entertain a group buy with some sort of discount? Maybe put out a GB feeler thread and see how many people would be down for it. I bet we could get ten folks to jump on board this.

Can't hurt to ask here. @Tracy@All-Pro Off Road would you guys be willing to have a group buy discount for the weld yourself racks over softoppers?

    @allpro

What do ya say? Would a GB be possible? How much interest would be needed for a GB discount or a Black Friday special?

Yeah, we could do a group buy for you guys! Anyone have any idea how many would be interested? Let me think on it for a little bit and see if we can offer a discount of any sort, without having to do a group buy. Are you guys thinking you want the kit or the welded versions?

    Awesome, you rock Tracy!

On this thread it looks like three of us are interested... I'll start a separate feeler thread and link back to this one to see what people are interested in as far as welded vs do it yourself. Personally, I'm good with either one depending on what you and the All-Pro team come up with.

    Thanks!

I think you would get more interest if somehow it could be confirmed if this would fit on Bestop. Just sayin'

I would be totally interested in that. Just spent a week out in eastern Montana hunting birds and with my decoys and other shit I really could have used a rack over my Bestop.

I'm jealous of that trip! That's a fine setup and best friend you got there.

Please vote on the feeler thread (it's linked above) so we can show All-Pro what the TW members want. From the looks of your picture, the Bestop may sit a little higher than the Softopper. The SOS rack is still an option for you Bestop guys, but maybe All-Pro can work something out given enough interest shown on the feeler thread poll.

Just voted. If they need a Bestop to test fit I could drive over there. AllPro is only a few hours from me in Helena (plus I could sneak in a grouse or duck hunt, heh-heh).

You're the man if you can pull that off! Your fellow Bestop owners would greatly appreciate it. The All-Pro website doesn't show if their racks are compatible with 3rd gens, but I think the bed may be the same shape. @allpro what do you think? 3rd gen compatible? Can @Threerun drop by sometime to test fit a rack with his Bestop?

If it fits a Bestop, I would be interested in an aluminum one.

    Bumpity

Aside from SOS, the weld it DIY from All Pro, and that ungodly tall thing on Softopper website, anybody have other suggestions?

I'm leaning toward having a local guy just throw something together for me.

Throw yourself one together. I'm building mine. Will be similar to this once finished but will fit flush over the softopper

Nice! I want it as flush as possible. My use would only be for an RTT and I don't care if the ST can't fold with the rack.

Do you have a picture of completed rack? Any info on how it was made I'm interested in a flush rack that's easily removable.
