I think the good book notes 87. I'm using it and seems to run fine

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
87 unless it's detonating. Then you might want to switch to 93.

Shouldn't detonate. Computer will decrease timing if it detects any detonation and avoids it.

No idea. But with the use of vvt and direct injection you can run considerable compression without the use of high octane fuel

E85 is 110 octane...about the same as race gas and not $10/gal

Im having a turbo built for mine. I plan on running somewhere between 15-20psi and shooting for 550/600 and will be using about a 50/50 mix of e85 and 93

Other than there is no where to buy it around here. My car doesn't have a flex fuel sensor. My injectors and pump are maxed out right now on gas. I wouldn't be able to pump the amount of e85 required to match the power of gas

I was joking before but i assume youre being serious now about a car? What car? I had a 335i fully built before I got pit maneuvered on the interstate in the rain and got this.
