Does anybody have any recommendations for where I could get some rock sliders fab'd and installed on my xtra cab first gen? Preferably in the Springs, but Denver would be fine too. I checked out Insain but I wanted to compare what else is out there.

Hefty Fabworks. Maybe 3D Offroad. They do metal work.

I went the route of ordering sliders then had them welded on at a shop.

Also interested in COS/ Denver / in state slider options. Avoiding paying shipping would be great...

@3378jakesr5 have you made any bolt on sliders for a 2016? Would love to see pics or get an estimate of cost.

He has a horrible reputation in the community, FWIW. Latest complaint: http://www.colorado4x4.org/vbb/showthread.php?219718-Local-vender-buyer-beware

Here are multiple reports on him over on Ripoff Report:
    - http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/offro...00-for-deposit-on-a-Jeep-WJ-Winch-Bum-1127543

    Five one-star reviews on OutScam:
    http://www.outscam.com/off-road-armor-llc-9e

A quick 'net search popped on those, along with several internet forum complaint threads.

With all the fabrication shops on the Front Range... well, I think the above speaks for itself. Tread lightly.

I just used 3D Offroad for some work for the first time. Great job! Real nice guy and plan to go back.

No worries... I had one of those "uh-oh" moments while reading the CO4x4 board and thinking "I've seen this company mentioned somewhere." My intent was not malicious, just informative. Some of the complaints, etc. are likely duplicates (same complaint across multiple websites... you know what they say about a customer scorned), but there's too much going on there to not be considered when choosing a shop.

I know I value my money too much - I expect most do.

A lot. Check out my build page.
Insain Fabrication near Denver is where I got mine done two weeks ago. Corey Sain is AWESOME and does great work. LOVE my weld on sliders. Hit him up. www.insainfab.com, sales@insanefab.com or find him on Facebook!

Fist hand experience, stay away from this guy. He took me for $1800 dollars. All I got was a half built exo-cage with horrible welds. Had to pay another shop to finish his work.
