Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
We've been offering them since 2010, the original reinforcement on the market. Tried and true, we've sold hundreds of them. Check out our vendor forum for some threads with info/reviews from customers

I've owned both the mobtown and the relentless reinforcements and the relentless gets my vote. It's a clean, 1 piece system that doesn't suffer from the inherent flex that mobtown's top cap does as it wraps all the way over the tailgate.

The top cap from Mobtown and the tailgate protector from Relentless are not at all comparable.

Not sure what point that was trying to make.

Relentless's product is beast. Not light at all, but very, very effective. I can't see an advantage to mobtown's products unless you JUST needed a skin or a top cap, but not both. You can save money by picking and choosing.

    Agreed.

I wouldn't mind having an actual comparison between the Relentless protector and the combo from Mobtown.

I wonder if, apples to apples, the Mobtown version isn't stiffer/stronger, even if only slightly.

I had the Relentless aluminum one on my Tacoma, when I traded it in that was one of the items I took off my truck and swapped onto my girlfriends Tacoma. Great product, it will definitely save your tailgate over time.

Aluminum powder coated version of the @RelentlessFab plate has been on my tailgate for two years. Highly recommend. Finish has held up well and the tailgate is straight.

I've had both the aluminum and steel versions of the Relentless skin. They're pretty awesome.

I put the tailgate plastic back on over the skin. If you don't, the bolt heads stick up and drag on everything

That can be mitigated somewhat by using different fasteners across the top row.

I think we all care about the look and function when upgrading. Why not have both in one? The ribs on the Mobtown look good and should add strength, but running left to right instead of front to back, they will also cause issues with stuff snagging just like mentioned about the bolts on the Relentless. Being two pieces might reduce the overall stiffness. The one piece design on the Relentless should add structural stiffness/strength, but being flat, it just doesn't look as good and the screws/molts will stick up. Keeping the plastic cover would prevent that, but that would not show off your mod.

As I am in the market for something to add strength to my tailgate and to get rid of/replace the nasty cuts in my plastic cover and cap from heavy use, I'd be happy to test/compare both if they can be provided at a reasonable cost....(not free).
