I recently bought a 98 Tacoma with 180000 miles. Runs well except there is a miss when idling. Changed plugs and wires and it's still there. No engine light... any suggestions? Hopefully nothing serious but definitely want to fix.

Thanks Matic. Those sound like pretty simple fixes. Hopefully not head gasket. Where is the maf sensor?

Probably not a head gasket...you would notice that pretty good. Listen for any slight popping noises when reving or possibly coolant in your oil.
Maybe like a foamy brown color. Also check for vacuum leaks.
If you change and gaskets, try and use a sensor safe silicone.

Someone with more experience will prob chime in. Never had a head gasket go bad.
