    I have a 2002 tacoma 3.4 v6 , today as I was headed to work it started sparkknocking bad . Any ideas as to what this may be ???

    Probably time to change out the spark plugs if it's been awhile, the regular copper ones need to be changed every 30k if I remember right. Could also be pre-ignition that you're hearing (they sound similar) which could be from a bad tank of gas.

    Are you supercharged?
