    2009 4 cylinder automatic / regular cab.

Seal at the driveshaft seems to have a one drop leak when parked.
I have made several road trips lately and the fulid is spun under the cab.
    Nothing unusually severe...

Question: Do Our trucks have a "CVT Transmission"?

I purchased a 24 oz bottle of "Lucas Transmission Fix"
States on bottle "Completely Stops Most Seal Leaks"

Also: states "Smaller transmissions (Compact or Sub Compact vehicles) Use 12 oz."

This is a 24 oz bottle and I'm about a quart low on fluid so I had intended to pour in the
Full 24 oz in the tranny...
Then I may wish to drain & fill in January 2017.

    What would y'all recommend?

    A quick follow-up.
I had to make a couple more trips before addressing the issue.
I can appreciate gearcruncher' input and advice.
I went over to the dealer service and got a quote of $350- for the replacement seal installed.
I made an appointment for the following day. + a drain & fill.
I walked out the door with a $421.00 invoice for a $20- part.
I'm good with that, as I didn't have to schedule or make arrangements elsewhere.

The new seal is different in appearance than the old seal and no leaks.
At 83,500 miles it was due a drain & fill, and is shifting smoothly.

I know it was not a difficult task, but I feel better knowing I didn't screw it up.

    Thanks gearchruncher
