Based on how the previous owner treated shock replacement, I wouldn't doubt it.

Not really, I just ordered a T fitting and another tiny nozzel. I really like the kit, but I feel the atomization isn't that great with such a big primary nozzle. I'd love to put like 3 or 4 nozzles around the post-MAF charge pipe

    Not fun dudes....
If you have any doubts in the integrity of your ball joints, change them. Usually it's the lower joint that fails on these tacos (AND I DID CHANGE THIS LOWER BALL JOINT), but it was the upper that popped out which pulled my no-more-than-a-year-old lower joint right out. Learn from me dudes. 10 minutes prior I was goin 75mph on the highway. Thank God.IMG_0134.jpg

    Na just the tow.
2 cv axles, 4 ball joints and a tie rod or two is probably less than my deductible:notsure:

This is what I was hinting at. If your insurance will cover it you'll have a sizable chunk out of that front LT bill. I took my truck in for alignment after I installed 5100's and they told me it needed tie rods and the cost + installation was $900.

That's freaking nuts. Tie rods are like $100 for both (partsgeek) and take an hour to replace (for me anyway). I'll probably replace my steering rack too... as it's leaking.
I guess I'll see what the insurance would cover. If they only agree to pay for my passenger ball joints to get replaced then I'd be better off doing the work myself.

Idk man. I'd rather put in front and rear dif locks as the terrain I usually go through doesn't require LT.

Yeah that's my point. The quote they'll give you will be off the charts so it'll definitely be worth it to pay your deductible and get a fat check and do w/e you want with it.

So I took yall's advice and filed an insurance claim... it's getting repaired at the dealership .
I'm hoping they aren't gonna charge me my $500 deductible to replace $200 worth of parts. Hopefully Toyota does what they do best and demand that the muffler bearings and headlight fluid be replaced.... bill ain't on me

I'd try and get a printed quote and see if your insurance will cut you a check........

They are paying the dealership directly. So far they said that only the ball joints, cv and brake lines are all that are getting replaced... which sucks because that's $300 worth of parts that would have taken me 2 hours to replace myself. My steering rack was leaking a heck of a lot more than usual after that accident, so hopefully they see and consider that.

I'm sure the terrain doesn't require a turbo either, but man is it fun :D

I just wanted to provide a little info for anyone who has done or is considering the GM external knock sensor mod. I have had a GM knock sensor screwed into to a plate that is directly above the thermostat housing on the middle intake plenum for at least 2 years now.
Long story short, my Ebrake cable has been sticking, causing my drum brakes to stick and causing at certain times a mildly obnoxious shaking (I realized this at the first occurrence of shaking, so don't think I've been intentionally driving around like this). When I was WOT on this particular day going to work, the truck started to shake. I remained in WOT for a few more seconds after the shaking started and the knock sensor actually picked up on this vibration and retarded the timing to the point where I was no longer in boost at WOT. I have since "unstuck" my rear brakes and have been at WOT multiple times with no timing retardation.
I have also decarbonized my engine with water a few times (before I installed the meth injection) which triggered several "misfire" codes every time.
Whoever says that the GM external knock sensor mod is dangerous or less sensitive is wrong in my opinion. New cable and brakes are going on tomorrow....
