So with a few weeks left remaining my my warranty finally took the time to take my truck in to have the annoying intermittent squeaky/groaning clutch looked at. Of course, it wasn't making a peep the morning that I took the truck in and I expected the usual "we'll, we couldn't replicate the issue" response, but to the dealer's credit they apparently make it creak and did the TSB. This apparently involved replacing the clutch master cylinder, pedal assembly and some lines.

And wow, it makes a difference. The clutch is MUCH easier and smoother, and so far there's no reason to think there was ever an issue. I'm optimistic that this really fixed it. So, if you're on the fence about taking your truck in to have the clutch squeak looked at, I'd do it.

So your clutch became much easier to operate after the TSB? Mine is creaking and the pedal has always been heavy.

Yes, dead quiet and much smoother/easier to engage/disengage. It feels like the parts are actually lubed and the spring rate is lower. Really happy with the difference.

I hate to burst your bubble, but be prepared for it to come back. Mine took 6-9 months but the squeak came back. Fixed it (for now) by applying never seize to the pivot between the rod & pedal. I was going to live with the squeak until I saw a post on here where the rod broke from, what appeared to be, the force of the friction at the pivot. Another member took his pedal assy apart and used lube for pool plumbing with good results. There's a thread on here about it. I *think* it's called the "ultimate squeak fix" or something like that.

Yea, I've heard that it could come back. But for now I'm sticking my head in the sand and hoping for the best.
