Nothing most of the time. But on a thread when people are seeking help it's pretty stupid. It was the last thing on our mind.

This is a tough trail. I did it a couple of months ago on 33s, open diffs, and had to get winched up a section. We did it starting at the lockwood side, which is even tougher

Pictures can be helpful for people to assess if their rig is capable of helping with the recovery.

Edit: Also glad that everything worked out

That's the way we were told we "could just drive out". There was not way that was happening.

Here are few pictures that the volunteer from SCOR took.

The SCOR volunteer needed a few hours of rest before it was safe to hit the road back home, so he setup his tent. Mad props to him for coming out to help!! Can't ever thank him enough..

I was gonna bust the guys balls a little about not having proper recovery gear, being in the wrong place with just a 2wd.... but then again, I have an offroad day coming up and I don't want that bad Karma. Glad everyone was ok, glad for all the help you guys got.

Too bad you got bad info on the trail.

Reminds me I need to get a better recovery strap lol. Bought mine when I first got my truck 7 months ago, before I knew any better. Wal-Mart special :bananadead:

That last picture on post 304 sure looks like a jeep.

Thanks to the latest in computer technology, we are able to recreate the scene like we were all there for those that want pictures. Our forensics team has determined that it went something like this:

    "Oh shitballs! I'm stuck!"
    IMG_7927.jpg

"It's no use Captain! She doesn't have enough drive wheels!"
    IMG_7928.jpg

That's where the black box recording cut off, but we all know the story of valor and bravery that was to follow.
