Anyone do it. What kind of prep. Thinking about doing sides only as I have a mat. Just want to clean it up a little to improve appearance before selling. I use my bed and while it is not scratched up it just does not look as good as it could.

Dish soap, elbow grease, and Aeroshell will probably make it look good unless it's deeply gouged.

I agree. Elbow grease and soap.
I'd rather buy a truck with a scratched up clean bed rather than a half sprayed bedliner

Doubt it'd stick long anyways. Then it'd be worse:notsure:

I agree that it probably wont stick for long. The bed has a shiny slippery surface.

Perhaps just a toyota bed mat. Its cheaper and will make a new buyer happy.

    nothing cool
If you're doing it just for looks maybe try some Aerospace 303? It'll make it look black again.

I have a mat. I will try a good cleaning before anything else. Half sprayed bed is not a concern to me because the mat covers the bottom and will go with truck when I sell.

Would bed liner even stick on a flexible plastic bed?

Yep I meant the buyer.thatd suck to want to do something other than your bed mat only to find out its half painted.
Eitherway, I wouldn't recommend And most importantly as a painter I do NOT think it'll stick long term. Might as well plastidip it. lol atleast it'd come off easy.

That's my ? Not really concerned about long term durability. It may lol like crap so I will stick with a good cleaning. That is what I did with my 2009 along with bedliner on bolt heads.
