    What about the moog bolt kit ? is that no good either ? I have been reading and reading and trying to figure out is there a alternative bolt kit other than the factory one, that is cheaper. If you could pump some grease in there it would be great. This thread was started in 2011, was there ever a correction to the bolt kit, looks like there was a error on the size of the rear one ? I just bought the dorman arms, i got 173,000 miles on my 2008 figured that was the way to go. i have 2.75" of lift on mine, been that way for 130,000 miles. I was going to do it, but after reading, i am just going to take it to the shop. They might not need the bolts, but i thought i would go ahead and get them just in case.

    The adjusters on the moog bolts strip easily, or at least in the hands of caveman mechanics. The washer size was corrected but there is probably still old stock out there. Grease is a good thing but not at the expense of getting the correct alignment numbers. SPC makes a bolt that I used and it seemed OK, there is a plastic sleeve in it so that it can't rust. Toyota took my SPC bolts out and put in factory when they replaced my Frame.

    Ok, i will give them a try. they might not need them, but one of the bushings has been squeaking like crazy for a long time.
    I imagine that one is going to be a pain and need cutting.

    Yes sir. They have not made the first slither of noise or moved. Many years down the road if I have to change them the spots can easily be grinded away.

    I put my ground directly onto the tubular portion of the conctol arm and tacked roughly every 3/4 to 1 inch. The big bushing have about 6 tacks and the smaller bushing have 5. As soon as the tacks are done I dipped them into some water to keep the rubber from burning. Once dry hit with some black spray paint and your good to go

    I think that many tacks was over kill. I believe just 4 tacks per bushing would be sufficient but I wanted to be "sure"!

    Tacking the end of the bushing's outter metal sleeve to the end of LCA sleeve while its already in there. Do it in fashion that's easily accessible if you need to reverse it in order to get the bushing out. This will stop the loose tolerance sleeve from sliding/pivoting.

    What he said. I already had my lca out because I had to (re) press my new bushing from where they had backed back out. Here is a pic from the front passenger side view. I did not paint them but I would recommend it.
