Nah I like my canon line just don't use it as much as I should for everything I have invested in it all. But yet my always wanting new crap for hobbies makes me want a new camera body and a few more lenses, it's a hard life we live.

The advancements in phone cameras makes it seem like such a waste to own dslr's now. My baby does something I take out my iPhone take a pic or make a video and send it out to family, I don't tell her hold on let me get my camera and then pick out the correct lenses for the situation, then setup the fancy tripod, only to then have to transfer the pic to the computer to Lightroom/photoshop, save it then email out.

God even writing all that makes me want to sell it all hah.

but yes, I have a similar feeling. plus I'm keeping my Olympus camera, so I still will have something in addition to my phone

That's the issue with my DSLR. Too many options, and I have a ton of filters and shit as well. I just get list with all of the options and when to use them.

I like using it on roadtrips when we need the whole family in the pics so we shoot from a tripod, otherwise iphone camera FTW

The reason I went with my Nikon S1 kit. Enough image quality and speed to take great photos 98% of the time. No need to constantly swap lenses unless I need to go for distance shots. I also like my lowly Nikon L310, does most of what I need when my phone won't cut it.

haha thanks. it's honestly a fair price in my opinion. at the end of the day, I'm losing money. but it's a really solid setup for anyone who is either a beginner or amateur who's looking for a do-it all setup

A good $3500 would go a long way for the build that's for sure.
