Are they replacing all springs on the affected vehicles now, or still only the ones that have broken?

They replaced mine, which were in perfect shape but had 2 clips. Went from 3 leaf to 4 leaf

Are they actually doing the fixes now? I haven't received another letter about it.

They have a new "standard" on the spring design. It's an additional alignment clip or whatever you/they want to call it. If your truck is the year range and model that requires the updated springs, they will replace them.

The TSB was due to the chance that a spring could break and puncture the fuel tank. Waiting till it broke kinda defeats the purpose. I had mine done on my '06 because it bottomed out. The new owner now has 205k on it and the spring broke, they're changing them again.

I have a spring inspection this tuesday. After replacement is an alignment included? Any other adjustments? Would it benefit me to have shocks installed at the same time? I'm still on the originals.

20 minutes into my inspection they told me they had the parts so it's all done. I was expecting to wait at least a couple weeks. Gonna pick it up tomorrow. Maybe the ride has improved some.
