Does anyone else with a 1st gen struggle with putting the bike over the tailgate? I feel like the bed isn't deep enough so the bike does sit very securely like that...

I originally wanted the bronson BUT, there is a bike park (Snow Summit) that is only 40 minutes away, therefor opted for the longer travel. Crappy to ride at my local trail though hahaha. But to be fair, climbing is always crappy no matter what.

Here's my stump jumper loaded up in the back of my old taco. Made the bike rack for $50. Gonna miss it but definitely going with a tailgate cover this time around.

Also, obviously not mine but stopped by the Santa Cruz factory after riding demo forest and saw this gnarly v10 syndicate rig with matching pinto... drool

@Nimble9, if it weren't for hating Specialized bikes, not liking 29ers and not having the money, I'd totally buy it from you!

(It is a good price though)

Something dickish about their mgmnt/business practices would be my guess..................have heard same type stuff from multiple non-associated sources of some stupid shit in that respect. Has no bearing on my riding or owning a Specialized bike or not tho. Maybe buy one 2nd hand like above vs buying one from a shop selling specialized is all I would do where money goes to an individual instead of the company.
