I have both the cobra 75 and 25 cb's. I like the 25 better, but the 75 is perfect size wise. Have any of you guys mounted the 25 in your trucks? If so, where did you install it. I'm thinking of mounting it on the rear cup holder. Thougets, or ideas if any. Thanks

Last time I had one and turned it on there was nothing but foul mother truckers clogging the airwaves. I mean enough to make a grizzled old sailor cringe. Didn't see much point after that. Probably a bit more useful in lesser populated areas without so much interstate traffic.

The cb is a step up from smoke signals. This would be used mainly on trails. Though I come from a time when the cb was all we had.

The 75 is hard to beat size/mounting wise. Not my favorite but I've run it a few times and it gets the job done. Personally not a fan of the rear mount as I like all my controls to be in front of me. My favorite for clean mounting was the Cobra 18, installed in a DIN slot. Looked factory and functioned great. Unfortunately the double DIN LCD screened trucks really prohibit this as an option.
