Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the flatbed off an 86 Toyota 1-ton and add a regular bed to the truck?Screenshot_20161018-201027.jpg

The flat bed is the best part!

Totally! You can move full sheets of sheetrock!

In regards to your question, I do not know. If the frames are the same though, I don't see why not.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Leave it a flat bed. Rip off the lumber and make it something more svelte though, out of steel.

Are those dual wheels in the rear?

Probably you could. I know in Australia the trucks would come without any beds from Japan, then the dealer would add the bed the customer chose, whether it's a flat bed, like aluminum, or a style side, like what Tacomas and that use, or one of those custom boxes. Those other beds should have the right mounts to fit your frame, as long as they're for exactly the same model.
