I have one from Amazon and one from Costco. They both do the job.

My wife used hers yesterday, worked great. She called me, stressed out, asking how to hook up jumper cables. I reminded her what's in her emergency bag in the trunk. It's straightforward and simple and she was able to easily do it. Success.

As mentioned above, you need to top off the charge every couple months.

(The one I bought a couple years ago on Amazon looks like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019VU5ZRC/ )

I emailed Winplus last night about using their jump starter for Tacoma- here is their reply to my question at the bottom:

I got the one from costco and one from Amazon as well. It was important to me that the charging port was a micro usb so I can use my 5v 2A tablet charger. Others use an old school 12v barrel plug style like the ones listed in the posts above. Both of these have the standardized micro usb feature. The amazon listing changed after my purchase to note that the one I bought is for a max displacement smaller than the tacoma. I suspect it will work anyway but I bought the other one as a backup. They are so small having 2 with me takes up very little space. One in the glove and the other under the back seat.

    http://www.costco.com/Lithium-Jump-Starter-And-Portable-Power-Bank-.product.100312116.html
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013UJ2JCE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Again this one from amazon above is for a smaller engine than the tacoma. The coscto one has the same 5v micro usb charging. The noco has this too but I don't see any reason to spend so much these are all made in China and the guts of these are all the same.

Here's something, I brought my jumpers inside for a top up charge after 3 months and the one from Costco was down to 25%, whereas the one month older one from Amazon still had 75%. Might have to return it....I am aware the batteries self discharge but that seems accelerated . I wonder if the costco one is junk, or has a parasitic drain. Either way if it self discharges again it's going back.

I've reached out to a few vendors to see if they can do a group buy on the antigravity batteries jump starters - http://themicrostart.com/

No promises tho. If this ends up being like the NoCo GB, I might not do it.

I got my energen for $50 and it works great. It isn't the best made I'm sure, but for the cost of a GOOD set of jumper cables it is much more convenient. I keep it in a crown royal bag and it has come in handy multiple times. I loaned it to a co-worker who has a bad battery and was using it 2-3 times a day for over 3 weeks. The last time he used it he hooked it up backwards (probably not the first time he did this) and it finally blew the fuse. I explained the situation to the company and they sent me a new one. The customer service was enough for me to suggest them to you guys. It was totally my fault (for loaning it to a dipshit) it messed up and they fixed me up for the cost of shipping.

    Good to know.

I see you're just down the road from several of us. Come by the Houston BS thread and say hi. Beware though, if you do, prepare to kill off brain cells.

I bought the Antigravity XP-10 and it seems pretty solid. Did a quick test and it works as advertised. No long term feedback though. I bought it from Jet.com and got 15% off since it was my first order with them. Pretty decent deal.

I also just bought the antigravity. If ramon gets a group buy up ill pry buy a couple for family. Seems good but we will see how well it holds a charge. But the packaging and accessories it comes with is nice. I like the slim profile compared to the old bulky jumpers.

I have the micro start xp-10. Last winter on a night it was 5 degrees out, i jump started a suburban with a 454 in it. Fired it right up. Ive helped about 2-3 people each winter with it. Definitely worth having.

If anyone is still interested, I have some connections at Juno Power http://junopower.com/collections/automobile

These guys dont use grey market cells made in china. They are Lithium Polymer rather than Ion which makes them more stable and heat resistant. They have a few products, but I keep a JunoJumpr 2 in all of my cars. HAs a built in led flashlight and a USB output at 2.1A
I've saved many coworkers with this and keeps it charge for at least a couple months.

Went to top off the Antigravity XP-10 for the first time, and after 3-4 months in a hot truck, all lights still lit up when I hit the test button. It did take a bit of a charge, but from this un-scientific test it seems to hold it's charge very well.

Thanks for the tip on Antigravity PPS. I didn't know much about these (except I wanted/needed one) and after reading reviews this seemed like a good product. I had placed one in my cart at Amazon a while back and then forgot about it.Today I noticed what I thought was great pricing. I bought the XP-3 today for $72.88, bought one for s-i-l for Xmas also. They also had the other models at varying prices, I think the XP-1 was only $80.
