Bilstein 5100's w/ Eibach coil overs in front (set at 3" of lift). Front diff drop kit. Extended Bilstein 5100's in the rear. Deaver 2" AAL in rear w/ axle shims. 285 x 75 r 16 Goodyear Duratracks. Wheelers steelies type B, AFE cold air intake. Sway bar delete. All Pro Apex front bumper (rattle canned Rustoleum primer + flat black). Plasti-dipped emblems. Mud flaps removed.
How is 140 lbs. of steel hanging off the front of the truck even comparable to 1 lb. of tire pressure? Nobody's talking about pushing the envelope we are talking about a front bumper on a truck.

OP just put whatever bumper you want on and decide whether or not it warrants a suspension upgrade later. Mine definitely made more of a change in handling than 1 lb. of tire pressure, although I have never noticed 1 lb. of tire pressure making a difference anyway so that analogy is about as helpful as a fart in a space suit.

Little late to the party, but here is one I built:

All I had at the time was my 220V welder, an angle grinder and a 16T pipe bender. Depending on your access to these things and your patience I suggest building your own, super rewarding!

The increase in weight from the stock bumper and brackets to the arb non winch bar will be 60-70 lbs. Being that this is going on a first gen taco, and we don't know how new your front springs are (or not), you might get a 'sag' of a half inch. You can put a spacer on top of your current suspension, if you want. Prolly no biggie either way, just a personal preference type thing.

When I put my front bumper and winch on it did sag the suspension and I put some spacers on and ended up blowing both of the struts out about a month later. I had the rancho quick lifts which were great without added weight but did not like the bumper combo. Upgraded to the boss coil overs and have had no problems since!

Yea I'm wondering how long my stock SR5 fronts will last with an extra 130 lbs of deer-laying bumper in the front. It seems pretty level and drives well on the highway to me. I do bottom it out on the rough stuff though.... Course I did that when it was the stock front bumper too.

Stock will last a lot longer than Ranchos. I'm not a fan of Rancho shocks, to each their own. And a winch should tack on what, 30 to 40 pounds?

Why are you not a fan of Rancho shocks. I ask because I am thinking of getting them.
