SR5 love?

sorry wrong sema wheels. didn't realize those were sema as well.

 

Yeah they were on the 07-14ish FJ Cruiser and 4-Runner, so they're not recent.

 

mine are 16x7.5", not a SR5 though sorry, I like the SR5 grille better, does that count?

looks great! stock suspension? did you use spacers? or did the wheels / tires just plug right in?

 

Stock suspension. -4mm offset on rims. No spacers. 17"rims 255/70/17 tires. Gave me 0.6" ground clearance to the bottom of the rear diff

 

awesome. unsure how "offset" works.. can you elaborate?

also, what tires are those.

 

I am not an expert, but I am hoping the picture below will help you make your decision on wheels/tires.
I also have the same truck as yours and I ordered 4 Cooper Discoverer AT/3 265/75/16 for under $400 after discount and rebate and will put them on the OEM wheels, then plastidip the wheels black.

 

Shit sorry. That was suppose to be 265/70/17. 10.65 wide, 31.65 tall. Negative offset brings the rims and tires out farther to the outside edge of the truck. The little offset mine gave put the tires to the outside edge of the fender well. Which I like. Makes the stance of the truck much better than stock. The tires I chose are Nitto Terra Grappler G2. I needed the little extra road comfort being a DD but still wanted good off-road performance. Decided to be different than getting the BFG KO2. No mall crawling here lol. And I meant to say I added just over a half an inch of clearance to the rear diff. 9.4 factory to just a tick over 10". Works for me.

 

Love my SR5 .. would like to add some FN FX pro wheels and a little more agressive larger tires down the road.

 

Where did you get the wheels? I want those on my SR5

 

What leveling kit did you use? How is the ride ?

 

I got them off eBay from a dealership out of Missouri back in March. $780 shipped for the set. I must warn you, if you don't have alloy rims already you WILL need to replace the TPMS sensors that are made for alloy wheels. If you need to go with factory ones. They're the only ones that'll work with the new computer.

Yep they should be able to and just relearn the positions of them. Research on here the people who had trouble doing so to avoid any potential issues.

 

First time checking into this thread. Very pleased with my SR5.

Agreed. I like that decal more than my TRD one.
