Yes, this is what I'm going with. What size light and where did you mount it? Also, did you purchase some theft-proof screws?

    Thanks partner!

Mounted it to the top front cross bar in the forward facing channel. Since then I took it out and put it on the top of that cross bar to take it out of the wind deflector because it was too much windnoise.

No I didn't get the security screws but kind of thinking about it. It's setup like this now

So you no longer have the cutout wind deflector? Also, how long is that light bar and what brand is it?

    Thanks!
40" rigid sr2. Nope it's out of the wind deflector. My rack was in a bad batch and the holes to move the wind deflector up and down didn't line up so I could only keep it in the middle position unless I drilled out the holes. I don't mind it on top though, the pelican boxes help hide it

Finally got my cabrac mounted the other day. Hope to get the lightbar mounted this weekend. Was real worried about the last crossbar not fitting around the sharkfin, but it was all good!

Hope these pics work, I'm a Flickr newb

Got that light at mounted using stock mounts & a regular crossbar with a carriage bolt. Just need to wire it now.2myayk4_5a3343f5f2d2eec192a1fce38b22f7ff5cc18998.jpg

That looks awesome, I'm going to start mounting my TopRac tomorrow, and may be even my CabRac.
any advise, videos, articles would be helpful.
I didn't get the light bar yet, but that's on the list of things I might do at some point down the road, so I ordered the deflector with the slot.

Cheap ass Amazon light bar is actually pretty bright. No headlights in the pic, and we don't do street lights where I live.

Painting complete and it's assembled. I'm installing tomorrow and will follow up with pics.

By the way, Rustoleum professional bed liner spray from Wal-Mart is great if you choose to save on powder coating! You'll need 2 cans @ $12 a can.

Got it installed today. It looks amazing and I can't wait to get the light bar added and use this thing!

My apologies to Zach for reversing your logo.
