Rear bolt on plate bumper

These ones are steel. I don't know if I will make these out of aluminum or not.

 

These look really nice, I would be much more interested if I could still keep my ability to tow though. Would it be possible to somehow add support that would reinforce the receiver to be as strong or stronger than stock?

 

I would feel perfectly comfortable using this bumper to tow anything I would with the factory tow hitch. It uses the same mounting points as the factory hitch. From a liability standpoint, I can't say that you can tow just as much or more with this bumper versus the factory trailer hitch. My fear is somebody trying to pull a 10000 pound load with my bumper. Hell, we've all seen people do it with Factory hitches as well as just a ball on the bumper!
