Switching to synthetic oil

Sounds like 2 oil changes to me...

Nice way of marketing to someone who doesn't know dick about engines...

 

Name of dealership please. I don't live in your area but always nice for me to know where to avoid if traveling, plus others living in Tucson area might be interested.

 

I'm soon due for my brushless flux capacitor cleaning.

I perform my own oil flushes after I got tired of paying the dealership to do them for me - found a great tutorial on how to DIY blinker fluid changes so I can save more money. This guy really knows his stuff.

 

Did they offer the snake oil additive while they were at it?

I switched to synthetic after my included oil changes were past, and my dealer just put my supplied oil in at the next service.

 

I think he was kidding. He's saying there's no "flush". In other words....they just change the oil.

 

Yep...empty and add...that would be my guess. There are snake-oil-in-a-can-flush-chemicals you can buy at auto parts stores, but I seriously doubt the dealer would use those. That would take time and time is king at the dealership. The service writer was either clueless or trying to setup the customer for some mud-packin'.
