forsure, i agree with you that it's a drug. That's indisputable. Totally different substance than alcohol, but that's a different conversation.

The weed in stores can be higher quality but by no means is that exclusive to stores, you can get just as good buds "on the street".
It's just not the '70s anymore and people don't smoke mexi-shwag.

 

No doubt totally different than alcohol. I don't think it's nearly as addictive or damaging to the body. I love my beers but if I could take a few puffs before bed I would do that instead. There are a lot of things that need to be figured out with it legal and it will eventually

Hey its OT, I ain't complaining. Getting payed $60/hr to read my kindle for 12 hours and talk shop with you guys is pretty nice lol

Long night ahead here; power outages, cell tower down, and a hot batch of heroin with 3 fatals already today... luckily we're fully staffed for a Friday night.

 

Damn. Drugs are gonna be the end of the world.

 

Haha yeah. But right now its a tense 12 hours for the next 2 weeks until we shut down. Boiler has leaking tubes that are getting steadily worse. Couple pieces of major equipment are broken down completely or in emergency use only status instead of online standby. So if shit hits the fan suddenly, its gonna explode lol. But still, I was gonna take this weekend off for a camping trip and got asked if I wanted 4 more days of OT. Fuck yeah I do lol

 

I'd love to be able to get OT, only comp days for us. Last job I could almost double my salary with overtime...

 

I have worked every single Friday and Saturday for the last year and will for the foreseeable future.......

right there with ya, we do 5/2. took 2 years to get sun/mon off and that required going back to overnights. Started 3-11 tues/weds. That'll suck the life right out of you. switching agencies bumped me to the bottom of the seniority list and used to get forced doubles 2-3x per week. turnover so high here that I'm already back into the top 1/3 of the list.
