Anyone have a link to a decent free coverter software?

Or do you have a link for a nice pay program that is user friendly.

I would like to convert iTunes to MP3 for a SanDisc player.

Seems like the free ones that I have looked at do not work for M4P files and the one that does work is pretty cumbersome to use.

Basically I could use a little help wading through all the BS out there.
