How are the Dynapro's holding up?

I'm torn between the Dynapro's, Cooper AT/3's, and Falken AT's. I'm slowly ruling the Falkens out because guys are reporting uneven and excessive tread wear in the first few thousand miles, also they're the heaviest of the bunch.

So I guess right now I'm flip flopping between the Dynapros and the AT3's.

Check out this deal on BFG KO2's at 4 Wheel Parts. Free shipping, they pay sales tax on a set of 4, $70 off instantly (which gets a 285/75/16 down to $195.47 per tire), and you get a $50 promo card with a set of 4. So even with this deal from Discount Tire Direct you pay $204 per tire plus sales tax for your state. If you factor $100 for mount and balance....it would be $881.88 for a set of 285/75/16 BFG KO2's with a $50 promo card and free shipping from 4wheel parts!

They are 305/55r20 on my wife's Tahoe. I love them. The tread wear seems to be good, good road manners in all conditions dry, wet and snow /ice. We have only taken it offroad once to the river, they seemed to be a pretty decent, lugs cleared fast and we didn't have any issue. Mind you it wasn't extreme offroad, I would say moderate, I have no negatives to report.

I looked at the falkens before picking the dynapros, the thing that turned me off was all the bad reviews, and how the looked on trucks after only a few months. Look around in parking lots, a lot of trucks have them, but most look very badly cupped and have no rain siping left, even thought they still had LOTS of tread left.

I don't remember if I looked into the coopers or not.

Correct, ATPs are different from AT/3s and they're both good tires (and the discount works for both). I've been running the ATPs and I like them so well that I'm replacing them with the same thing.

OP, thanks for posting this, I just used it.

I was looking for 285/65r18 St Maxx but no longer available. I think I will give the Ridge Grappler a try. I believe the last deal, you were able to use the code at least 3 times.

A lot of times during this sale, different tires will go in and out of stock. I was set to get a set of AT3's last night, but they were all out of stock in the size I wanted. I just kept checking this morning and more were listed just a little bit ago so I was able to order them right away. I also experienced the same thing earlier this year when i was getting som STT pros for my Tacoma so i called DTD and they let me know when to expect more being listed in that particular size. If you really want the St MAxx's, just keep checking back.

Been thinking about getting cooper at/3's. Just can't decide between getting the 285/70 17 in a 4ply or the 275/70 17 in the Load C any thoughts or opinions? Truck is a daily but I do go wheeling a few times a month

you might have better luck asking in the Wheels & Tires section or searching the forum Good luck. Personally my Load C kO2s have done great on the trails.
