I'd just look for something far cheaper from a hardware store such as a rubber draft excluder and cut it to size.

I've installed mine now and I placed a thin layer of rubberised tape between each metal to metal contact and I am really happy with how quiet it is.

I have a minor whistle at about 50 MPH from the front but it's barely noticeable over the exhaust and not noticeable at all with the radio on.

Had a bit of a nightmare with the installation due to over spray of the powder coating and a couple of incorrect bolts and washers being included in the pack. Bit disappointed in their quality control considering the price but it's still far superior than most racks I've seen.

Again, John at Blueline was great to deal with.

Now you have an excuse to add sound dampening to the truck including the roof. Made a huge difference on my truck and increased the comfort level inside considerably.

I went to Sound Deadener Showdown and bought his double cab Tacoma kit. Because I was severely limited on time I did the roof one weekend, the doors the next, and then the floor and rear cab wall the weekend after. If you had help and an open schedule you could easily get it done in one weekend but I'm glad it worked out that way for me as I got to experience the difference that each stage made for a few days before adding the next.

Hey Guys! I got in on the Iggy Lights Group Buy......long story short, got hooked up with some rigid industries lights and no longer need the one I ordered from iggy.

If anyone is interested in taking my spot for a 20inch single row....let me know. You will simply be taking my spot in the gb for the purchase price I paid. $144.00

Just got that hole punch from Amazon. If the weather is good I'll get my rack installed this weekend.

Remove the rubber strips between the wind deflector and the rack.

Is the whistle still happening? Have you tried removing the rubber strip between the wind deflector and the underside of the rack?

Instead of removing the rubber strip, I cut a strip of rubber tool tray liner to remove all of the air gaps. Whistling is gone. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction @BryanFRO

This is what I considered too. You can buy black easy peel caulking. Probably the quickest and cheapest option. Easy to remove and redo as needs be.

It's for the looks, I was too lazy to do those punch holes and instead I cut them in a few pieces and then attached back.

Install is finally complete I did notice my rails were actually grinding on my paint in the channel. The middle mounting points tore thru the masking tape and straight into my paint. I called front runner and they suggested to just add washers on the middle spacer. As for the whistle some guys are experiencing...he said the rubbers pieces are actually used to make the wind deflector one piece. Drove down the road and no whistle from 0mph-80mph (See pics below)image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Overall this rack feels strong and thank you blue line and Ramon for such a smooth transaction!

Interesting about the rubber pieces. Per the packages instructions, that's not what they are used for.

Yea the front runner rep I spoke to said they don't ever look at the instructions to put the tray together. It was his first time seeing the instructions for the Tacoma and he seemed dumbfounded when he read to put the rubber pieces between the tray and deflector.

My rack is hitting the paint also. I tried adding some washers but that didn't work for me. Were you able to resolve this issue?
