Has anyone had this problem with their windshield wipers and/or wiper blades. After a full motion it doesn't go all the way down to where it should. It leaves a gap between the blackened area of the windshield and the clear area of the windshield as the picture shows. Any solutions?

This happened to my dad's 2014 Tundra, the wiper stops about 4 inches higher though

and mine dont seem to press hard enough down to the windshield when wiping, they just dont completely wipe off all the water. Does anyone know of a fix for this? I just put brand new blades on a couple weeks ago.

If it bothers you you could take the wiper off and rotate it down one spline. That should lower the "at rest" position to below the black area of the windshield.

Mine does it sometimes. Usually flipping to highest speed, then off quickly will get them to reset. I have the 2 speed wipers though

Gently (and slowly) bend the section of arm at that end of the blade down a bit to push it down a bit onto the window. It will still wipe the rest of the window as it should.

Strange. I have used those. And they worked ok for a month or 2.
When wiping the window at a gas station or are somewhere that you use a squeegees when pulling back the windshield wiper blade is there any resistance in that spring arm?

Mine have done this in the past. They have gone down then started back up and stopped. Also they have randomly changed from intermittent to constant on their own. I had the dealer look at it, but of course they couldn't replicate it. It hasn't done it in a while.

yah, its like there needs to be stronger springs to hold it tighter against the windshield or some such.

Occasionally happens on my 2013. Recently the intermittent function stopped working briefly coinciding with the odd parking placement of the wiper arms (slightly above normal).
It seems to have fixed it self, although I expect it to return at some point.
My old Chev had a similar issue that later worsened and it was linked to a wiper control relay.
