Hey Steven I was thinking of going to Tyler SP next weekend for some two-legged trail time. Gotta work off all the beer I've been drinking and get ready for the next hiking season. If I see your truck around I'll come say hi.

 

Pelfreybilt Plate bumper with the Center Hoop. Couldn't pass up the free Baja Design lights for the fogs... so I have those plus some Amber lenses for them at the house waiting on the bumper to come in.

I will be there on the 22nd/23rd, will be getting there and setting up camp on the 22nd around 2:15pm or so.

 

Good news I talked to your family and told them about our old days slanging black tar heroin. They bought it and hate you now so your good to go.

Decided to take a majority of my gear out of the truck and check all of it the other day. This is stuff that is carried in the truck at all times. Not shown is a Blue Ridge Overland Gear Molle panel that has smaller items like leatherman, flashlight, glow sticks, paracord, and more on it.

Headed to a local state park this weekend. Will be the first time to try out the ARB awning and couple new camping toys I bought. Also going to use it as a shake down on gear to see what I really need and what I may be missing.

 

Have a great time out there. I decided to go camping this weekend too so I'm headed to the wildlife management area just west of Palestine since Tyler is booked up. I need to test the onboard water system and water heater for hunting season.

 

Yea, I wanted a better campsite at Tyler, but they were booked up so just went with the Water only site. May try and upgrade when I get there though.

 

Hope they have something better for you I tried to make a reservation earlier this week and nothing was available I really like that park the trails are great.

It was a good weekend.

I had a reservation since the end of September, so I just had to choose where I wanted to go. Ended up in the Red Oak campgrounds and had a pretty nice set up.

Was a good weekend to test out a couple things and realize that I either didn't need to bring things, or needed to add a couple things to the gear.

My main take away is that I really want to find some storage boxes that I can put my Coleman stove and some of the larger items in, so I just have to pack boxes and not have all this random out of box stuff.

 

Prinsu Design 5ft Toprac for the shell has been ordered.

Now I will finally be able to mount the 4ft ARB Awning and the Rigid SR-M lights off the back of the truck.

 

Heading to Austin tomorrow, so did not get to do much for Halloween. However, decided to do some Trick R Treating with a friend of mine and her kid, so threw some lights on the truck to be all festive and such...

 

Not many recent changes to the truck at all.

Order a WaterPort today. That is about it.

Pelfreybilt has been shipped and should be coming in soon hopefully, being shipped direct to a local powdercoater to get coated and then it is on the truck...

Side note: I have been thinking about changing all of my aux led lights to Baja Designs since I will have BD lights in the fogs for the moment and then will put a 20" bar in the front bumper someday soon hopefully.
