.... how small of a fuse? You should always use a relay with those (I have a few), but if you have a really small load and use a 2.5A fuse or so that should be okay. I'm guessing you used a 10A or more though?

Not yet. I don't own a camera other than my phone so the quality wouldn't be good. Might borrow my buddies go pro and try to put something together. I know everybody's ears are different, but I think it's the perfect amount of sound for our trucks. Gives it a nice growl/rumble for a 6 cyl. and isn't crazy loud unless you really get on it from a stop. Worth every penny in my opinion.

Standard Bosch relay from the auto parts store will do the trick. You'll need some wire to go with it unless you have some already. You're lucky that switch didn't start a fire in your truck.

    Thank you for the info.

Yes i am lucky. I was in a new town with the windows down and just thought it was the way the town smelled. It wasnt until i pulled into a walmart to pick up some camping supplies did i notice the lights wouldnt switch off. I immediately popped the switch out and noticed it was melted. Dodged a bullet there!

I don't have any specific recommendations for a brand. For things like lights I always keep most of the current on the engine side of the firewall. Just the low current switch part of the wiring in the cab. That means putting the relay in the engine bay, so I use waterproof ones. OTRATTW sells some on their website. Waterproof not totally necessary, but consider whether you do water crossings etc. when making that decision.

    Too few to list.
Did your sliders flex in the middle or does it just look like it in the picture? I would be afraid to put a hi-lift in the middle since its only connected to the frame with two legs.

Understandable but I can make more than 1.49% investing my money. Is why can't justify paying it off. Now this doesn't really work if you don't have the ability to invest and in that case it would be better to payoff the loan quicker.
