Some #2 welding or battery cable, that should cover it. Any color. :)
Personally I think the welding cable is better due to the higher strand count. Has better flex and current carrying characteristics. I bet you know where to get some. If not, ACE hardware carries it in 25 foot lengths.
Mount that sucker solid is about all I can suggest on the battery.

Use care in routing the battery cables to avoid chafing, rubber tubing makes an excellent insulator, can be slit down the side and wrapped right over the battery cable. Cheap Garden hose is excellent for this. I'd wrap the entire length if necessary.

Ok this is another winter project for me. I fond some for a decent price on Amazon. Will I need a breaker switch in the engine bay?

I'm assuming you are relocating it for weight reasons? and not to add a second battery?
Either way I wouldn't see a need for a breaker. As long as you take care in the wire routing so that there is no chance of a short, then you should be ok. Remember, you are jumping, so think of impact on landing and how that cable will react. If it's sheathed in tubing/garden hose and not pinched anywhere, I would not worry about it. Charging and winching systems are best run direct with no breaker or fusing.

Yeah I'm just relocating because of weight. I have a bigger battery in there now and the weight broke my spot welds on the radiator support when jumping it. I totally get what you mean about the garden hose I do the same thing on my machine at work with the hyd lines. Protects the hoses pretty good.

Summit sells kits for battery relocation. Ordered mine from them. Worked well. A breaker is highly recommended in case a wreck or something goes wrong it won't burn ur truck down. I didn't have one but was gonna order one... Did the relocation just before I left for her last mission :pout: never got to get the breaker

Are those the right pads and rotors for the Tundra calipers?

Edit: just googled it, you got a good price on them too.

I believe so. I tried cross checking them on google. They come up as the right one. Of corse the pic isn't the actual pic of the item I bought. Plus Amazon always was good to me with replacing wrong items. So I'm not to concerned if I ordered the wrong ones. I also put in Amazon that I was looking for an 05 Tundra and it said it fit. We shall see.

May ask for those links down the road :spy:

Not sure if I wanna go with the Amazon package or not. I'd prefer not to have red calipers

I'm not much of a fan of red either. That's why I went with the Napa ones. I did want to paint them blue but black is fine with me too.

That's what I was going to do. Depending on if I get a DD prior to ordering this (probably not) I'll paint them blue. But not likely.
