Spent the past hour trying to figure out macros and how to prep myself for meal prepping but now I'm way confused and can't find a good website/app to calculate macros per food. It can't be hard right?..meatheads are the dumbest people on the planet and most of them can figure it out...no offense obv

I'm 165 right now, I'm going to be pretty drastic and try to eat as someone who is 180 maintaining 10% bf. I've at least gotten as far as knowing I'll need to consume 3600calories/day broken down to 225p 75f and 500c. Now I'm just trying to figure out what meals I can prep (probably going to be chicken heavy since that's cheap/easy). I want to do 4 meals a day + at least 2 shakes (post workout and pre bed, possibly a 3rd when I wake up).

Anyone have a good website or app (free)?

Dude one the left is Jesse Shandz. He actually joined bb.com to make fun of the people there in the misc and they ended up being super supportive of him and he is smaller than kerleydick now.

Ok so here's my review of
    us.myprotein.com

The box was in really rough shape. Like wtf guys.

    IMG_3965.jpg

    IMG_3966.jpg

I will tell you this the bags will be getting tossed as soon as I get home and going into my empty 5lb bodytech containers. The bags feel super cheap and I can see them tearing.

    IMG_3967.jpg

And that's all they sent. None of the free stuff they said they were delivering. A positive is I called them about the free stuff and they are sending out a new order and apologized for the screw up.

Everything except the dextrose is good until 2018 which was good. I had read some people got near expired stuff after I ordered. But those were all old posts from years ago. The dextrose however expires 3/17.

    Cinnamon roll :

Not as good as cellucor cinnamon swirl but it's different so that maybe impacting my judgement. I like it. I will order it again. But where cinnamon swirl is like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. This is cinnamon roll and it's more like French toast crunch. Has a maple flavor mixed in. I can also say this powder is really really thick. Almost like casein but not quite.

    Chocolate coconut :

This one I was really looking forward to. It doesn't have a real strong coconut smell to it but a lot like normal chocolate. For the taste it was a very mild flavor all the way around and somewhat easy to drink. It isn't over the top sweet but it's not under-sweet sweet either. It could afford to have maybe a little more sweetness actually. I will say it is not as good as a mounds like previous mentioned commenters ok their site. Maybe I got a weak batch but I'll drink it until it's gone. I most likely won't re order this flavor. And it is also really thick as well.

    Mocha:

This is where it's at. The redeeming factor in my order. Up until this point I was not super excited as I could have been for myprotein. But the mocha has officially swayed me to be a yes man I will be ordering this again. Imagine if you can an Arby's jamocha shake. That's exactly what this would compare to. Amazingly smooth not as thick as the other two but definitely not runny. Mocha for the win.

Overall review and should you buy from myprotein:

I will most likely buy from them because the ingredients are simple. No proprietary blend bs. No filler no crap. IMG_3968.jpg They have a A++ rating on labdoor so you know you're getting quality. Shipping was decent at their speeds. Seems flavors can range across the board to meh to holy hell this is delicious. But mostly importantly price per gram of protein is phenomenal. I would suggest shopping with them and at least trying some different flavors. Make sure what you order if you order a 5.5 lb bag that you know regardless of how it tastes that you're going to enjoy it.

But at the end of it all this is just advice.

What ^ he said. But why are you doing 4 meals and a few shakes? Why not do 6. I know for me my macros are complete opposite of yours. My protein is super high, my carbs are moderate and my fat is exactly the same. But I find trying to get all my protein in one even 6 meals a challenge. Now I make crappy carbs are easy. But whole clean carbs you might wanna spread that out a little right ?

I'll probably be tweaking it. Right now I eat breakfast, mid morning snack, post gym shake, lunch, dinner, pre bed shake. I figured I could just do the same but actually plan what I was eating to fit those macros (as opposed to just eating whatever I have around).

If I did 3 shakes that would get 75g of the protein leaving me needing only 150g to spread around 4 meals. That shouldn't be that hard :notsure:

Nope. Her work is having her travel more so that's why I'm making the change. Since I was primarily the person who cooked dinner every night I figure it's a good time since I'll just need to make a meal for one :notsure:

That's how it is with me. I meal prep for me for the entire week and Stacey just does whatever unfortunately. She tried it. But she said she just can't eat the same stuff day in and day out like that. And then there's madie.

Well I guess I'm joining this thread now. Been a lazy shit the past year and have lost 20-25 pounds after slacking on meals and not lifting. I was getting burned out and lifting just wasn't enjoyable anymore. I'm getting the itch again and have a Titan Fitness power rack, barbell, bench, and plates coming to the house early next week. My focus is the big 3 lifts, keeping it simple, and actually sticking to my caloric intake. Weight was 149 the other day at the doctor and would like to get it up to 175-180.
