Got the 2011 Camry ignition assembly in the mail. Confirmed it's the correct part number for the immobilizer. Hot damn at half price compared to the dealer.

That's great... nice find! You could probably sell the remaining parts left too.

    Finally!

Yes, I figure even if I only get $20 for the whole assembly it's still a great deal.

There is a tiny bit of wiring involved (two wires & terminals to be added into a connector).

C'mon Rick, if you can swap out old brake cables on your bike frame you can do this.

I wish people weren't so intimidated by soldering, it's really very easy. If you were in FL I could show you how to do it properly in a half-hour. Getting the voltages and fucking with the fuses is the difficult part for me.

Idk on mobile at the moment and haven't looked at it in a while but I'm pretty sure that's the way he did it. Or a variation of the same thing.

I was gonna do option 2 and actually got it working however I realized it was sort of pointless:/ can't see it behind the wheel when driving anyway.

I looked over his PDF and yes it's same method as option1. Only difference is he tapped the dome wire at the harness whereas I tapped it up in the A-pillar loom. Otherwise same.

Don't know how I missed the alert that you tagged me here. I'm down, and at the same time, I hate you for making me want another mod. Pick up the parts and we'll get you squared away in the spring when it's warm enough to work outside again.

I also have a better way to wire in your license plate lights on your swing-out tire carrier. Not sure why I didn't think of this before, but we could run the harness all the way up to your tail lights to get the brake light illumination squared away.
