I have 2013 Tacoma access cab and want to install bull bar and either nerf/running bar. But I don't know anything so have some questions:
    - How do I know what size? Where can I find information about it? or can you tell me the size?
    - Does the bars are same size for all 2nd Gen.? Or it's different for all years/style (single cab/access cab/ double cab)? Will it fit if that from others Brand Names trucks?
    - should I get nerf bar or running bar? which one do you think better?
    - Where can I buy it? Online? Or do you think local stores are better?

What is your goal/hope with installing a bull bar?
    - Looks?
    - Protection?

What is your goal/hope with installing running bars?
    - Looks?
    - Use as a Step up?
    - Protection?

If you answered "protection" on either one - stop and don't waste your money.

Yes, you need something that says it will fit your specific truck. Running boards must be designed for the Access Cab specifically or they won't be the right length.

Bah, the bull bar wont be an issue. A front end collision on a Tacoma will almost always be a total, bull bar or not.

All the more reason not to waste the money on a bull bar. LOL Unless you just really like how it looks or need a place to mount lights or something.

I want install Bull Bar because I think it looks cool. But if you said it equals damaged multipler, then I will say NO. (Thanks for telling me that)
Running Bar I want to use as a step up (my wife almost fell off).
I don't think both of them will help improve any protection at all

In that case find something that says it will fit the 2012+ Tacoma Access Cab.

N-Fab makes nice nerf bars that have steps hanging down from them. I had them on my truck for a while and found them great for using as steps. And they're easy to install yourself with a ratchet and socket set.

As far as bull bars go I honestly couldn't say who is better than anyone else. But you can get them in black or chrome typically. Fairly easy to install as I understand.

Should I buy it online? Or local store? If online which website would you suggest? Or go to n-fab website?
