There's some nice area's to drive around Lake Burton also. W Wildcat Rd. is a nice drive right along the creek a lot of the way. If it's a warm day at the bottom of the creek on Forestry land is a place called the rock slide (Not marked but you will see it from the road). The kids will get on top and slide down the rock into the pool at the bottom. The creek is a stocked trout stream so you may see some trout in it also. The road goes a long way up the mountain. The gate at the top may be open or you may have to turn around and come back down. If it's open it goes over the mountain and changes to Mill Creek Road. You follow it all the way out to Hwy 17 and take a left. It takes you right back into Helen on main street.

Coming from Helen take a left on 197 heading to Lake Burton. Further around Burton on 197 take a right at the stop sign onto 76 heading towards Clayton. Few miles down the road take a left on Persimmon Road then go down and take a left of Tullulah River Road. That will take you along the Tullulah River which is a beautiful drive. On down the road you will see a area where you can drive into, downand cross the river. That is one of the trails listed but I can't remember the name of it ( @dwalden2 you remember it?). Tullulah River Road is a nice ride to get out and check out the River.

This is the Tallulah River crossing. I never used 4wd.

Crossing the river in 2wd. I pulled it up on googlemaps. I used to work just south of there on Lake Rabun.

We usually go up there every spring on a trout fishing trip and stay in a house on Rabun.

If you know where Tululla River is where everyone trout fishes at then drive down the road until it opens up wide and turns to the right. You'll turn left into the river right after that. It's almost a U the road makes.

Nah, they're still there for now. Just happen to be on the ground instead of the trees. :)

Insurance is fixing it. Unfortunately SCS won't have my wheels in stock til December...so I'm not sure what's gonna happen there...

That's good new's that it's not being totaled. I have a set of oem 16's wheels you can use if you need something to run on until SCS has them in stock.
