Wrapped one side of the bike to get an idea, I had plans to wrap it from the beginning but now I'm uncertain. I like the color but the black is pretty nice.

Whats everyone using for an external mic for their gopro, Im thinking of this one http://www.bestbuy.com/site/rode-vi...nser-microphone-black/4739923.p?skuId=4739923

Trying to find something that will cut down on wind noise and capture a somewhat realistic exhaust note

I never had good luck with mics. Not any help but my session doesn't pick up wind noise or much of it. I'm sure being waterproof helps

I've got my eyeball on a new street glide. I told my self I'll never buy another Harley. So rediculous overpriced for unreliable garbage. Yet here I am looking again...

Got fork and axle sliders installed today on my FZ-07. They're from OES Accessories. I chose them just for the sake that they didn't have any logos or brand names etched into them. I like the clean look they have. Wanted the non-spool type, but the spools will make it easier whenever I decide to get a rear stand.

Also picked up a throttle lock/cruise control mechanism called Omni-Cruise. Keeping at a constant speed for 35+ minutes gets annoying on the wrist, so we'll see how it does on my way to work tomorrow.

Yeah, I thought it was super dangerous when I first saw it. But, after watching this video of how it works and getting tired of my wrist being stiff when I get done with my commute, I figured I'd try it out.

Dunes on 2 wheels is interesting. The rear wobbles and walks around a lot until you get moving above roughly 20mph? Then it's fine, very forgiving when you crash!

I've never ridden with a paddle tire on before. Makes a big difference

You'll be glad you got the spool type, trust me. Rear stand is pretty much an essential for non-dual sports/dirt bikes. And don't cheap out, just get a Pitbull, I have this one with the removable handle option, which I think is really nice for space savings if you need it.

It's been a while since I rode in the dunes. February of 2003 to be exact. The paddle tire was good for climbing the dunes and getting up on top of the sand quick. The trade off is it kinda sucks everywhere else. In one day of riding with the paddle it ate most of the mud flap. We put them on and rode at Mescalero Sand Dunes in New Mexico for a day
    IMG_1712.jpg
and then packed up and headed to Hot Well Dunes in Arizona.
    IMG_1709.jpg
    IMG_1713.jpg
After two days riding on the paddle tires there we switched back to Michelin S12s.
    IMG_1710.jpg
Gotta say other than taking off from a stop and climbing the bigger dunes I much prefered the knobbies. Either way it was fun and unique but I'm a woods rat and really missed having trees or something to steer around.

Meh, I was just planning on getting a set of these. Reviews seem good enough.
