Show off your tacos!

I've never been a fan of calling our trucks "tacos". In honor of "National Taco Day" and in the spirit of useless posts, I decided to start a thread to share our actual tacos. It may be more of a phenomenon in the south west, but just like other parts of the country where everyone knows where to get the best BBQ in the south, or the best Clam Chowder in the north east, or the best gluten-free tree-bark tofu wheatgrass sandwich in the PNW- everyone has their favorite taco spots in SoCal. Share away. Feel free to add a location and website if available along with any tips or pointers for out of towners

Also feel free to share recipes or your homemade tacos to make members envious of your cooking skills.

 

Here's mine for today:

2 tacos Al Pastor and a Gordita de Asada from Daniels Tacos.

Here's the inside of the Gordita:


Gordita was meh. Just a big sloppy mess. Tacos were good, but I usually like my al pastor to be a bit juicier. Green salsa is mild and has a good flavor. Red salsa is smokey and a bit spicier without as much flavor.
