Surface rust on bottom edge of rear window

just purchased an 06 access cab and just took it to car wash and noticed small amounts of surface rust alone the bottom edge of the rear window, there seems to be a couple of drain holes near the outside bottom edges, this seems to be the area that it is draining down onto the paint. Is this a common problem and how hard is it to remove the window and deal with the issue
