Brakes are grinding

I recently replaced pads, rotors and calipers on my truck. Things where great and my truck has never stopped better. Until a few days ago when ever I come to a stop slightly harder than normal I get a terrible grinding noise from 20mph to a complete stop. I am using ceramic pass. If I have a normal stop with not to much pedal pressure everything is fine. Any ideas?

 

Id get back in there and check things out. Make sure everything is still together correctly. Make sure a pad didn't shift for some reason, or that one of the pins didn't become loose. Maybe something jammed between the pad and rotor.

 

It is possible one of your pads de-laminated. Ive seen it happen. You still stop well bcause you have the pad on the other side but it uses the metal backer on the other pad as well.

 

You'll need to get in and take a look.

My money is on the ABS kicking on for some reason. Maybe the brakes aren't engaging at the same time, or there's oil on one of the rotors. Something like that.

 

1. Is it definitely coming from up front? Did you check the rear?
2. Hopefully it's not the abs that somehow got messed up.
3. Could have something wedged in there like a pebble or somethng
