We had my stock bumper on the ground 5 minutes after I got to Hungry Valley a few years ago. Do it, it's not hard! Jackstands not needed

I've got the pelfreybilt hybrid bumper. That bumper bar needs to be removed, along with part of the crossmember(iirc) y'all think we can get that all removed ?

Dude, thats all eaaaasy bolt on stuff. Your front bumper takes about 5-10 minutes depending on how finicky it is. The bumper bar takes all of 5 minutes....then you gotta cut your inner fender liners back, although some people just bend them up, its up to you, theyre only about $25 on Amazon IIRC. The new bumper goes on suuuuuuuper easy with 2-3 people guiding it on.

Lemme put it this way, it took me an hour to do it myself behind my apartment in San Diego, having never done any of it before lol.

No kidding. I'm not the most handy person ever so seeing how you did this in an hour is damn impressive lol.

Ok I lied, after trying to do it myself for 10 minutes I asked one of the maintenance guys to help me lift it on to the truck. But once its on the bolts its pretty easy.

So I might get to claim oldest (66) and farthest traveled (San Diego), heading to the Humboldt's and stopping to see friends in Walnut Creek on the way and camping in a friends driveway in Concord for the weekend. Left Concord in 2010 after 25 years... Where the fark is BWW located?

OK, I remember the Hotel there but not much else on that side. Should not be hard to find then.

Yeah a little after the Hilton heading towards Concord Ave on the right. Across from the Chevron, but it has since been demolished.

Worked at Chevron, glad to see it go, so must be close to the old Marie Callenders? Fond memories, young waitress there also did my hair cut in her garage... fantastic bolt-ons, loved to show them, made for a great massage, not a bad skeet and trap shooter either as they didn't get in the way.
