I bought a used BPF front tow hook assembly and installed it today. Person told me to use the existing bolts which seemed off because they were much longer due to BPF tow hook plate being much thinner. Well after torquing the heck out of it I got it in but now since I have a TRD pro skid plate on I can not fit the front red U hook/recovery hook. Can I use two washers to drop it down just a tad to make the recovery hook fit or will that effect the sturdiness?
