I cant make the previous weekend. And @misdirection1982 wont have a truck. This is kind of saying "welcome to the cool kids club (if he gets a taco) if he gets a 4runner, then it's not as cool"

He wont fit down the trail......theres a reason I have scratches down both sides of both my trucks.

This is a pic of my Tundra after going up Union Springs, all stock, I bent the tube step following the line of a 33" tired jeep

Poor tundra, it days being a mall crawler are done.:pout:

Does your taco fit on those trails? I don't mind scratches, but would suck to tear up my fiberglass fenders.

man this is going to be an awesome weekend. Yeah I'm waiting for funds to arrive so I can trade my boring city element in for the yota. And I also have to work around the weekends I don't have my daughter.

Ha! That was about 2007. The tundra has only been part-time mall crawler since then. It's been over almost every forest road in GWNF and Monongahela in WV, as well as many trips to Cape Lookout National Seashore.

The Taco fits better being a few inches narrower, I scratched it on the Canaan Loop (FR13) in WV.

Dunkle Hollow to Flagpole is pretty scratch free.

I was going to say from the vids flagpole looks pretty open. How was cape lookout? That sounds like a fun drive.

Tacomas have plenty of room to navigate the trails, shouldn't get any scratches. If you do.. :itllbuffout:

CALO was more fun a few years ago. They've progressively closed more of the beach for nesting turtles and birds. On the plus side the turtle population is on the increase.

It is 25 miles of sand though. Lots of fun in the sun and surf. You have to be absolutely self sufficient if you camp. The only thing sold on the island is ice. Go during the off season and it's like having the whole thing to yourself.

Looking at my schedule, I'm pretty sure I can do the run. However, I may not camp. Are we thinking drive to Flagpole and make the run on Saturday, and camp Saturday night? Or trail run on Sunday?

It's about 2 1/2 for me. So it can be a day trip. I am willing to get up early.
