your not wrong. youwill be creating more stress with the 3". 6" keeps it at factory specs and the cutting of the crossmember is stronger when then are done than when it was stock. this has been beat to death in may threads.

It comes down to each hs own. there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with getting a 6" lift. the difference in diff height is negligable and besides, the hieght of the center of the truck is what matters not the dff. and in that we 6"ers win:) it helps but hey...your rear diff has to be able to clear the same thing your front diff did:)

If you got the money go 6" not 3". but it depends on what type of wheeling you may do. long travel may be for you, it jsut depends.

well the last time i washed it was in August i think, but yeah just rinse off because it doesnt matter if it still looks a little dirty. if i want it really clean though i still have to use a brush like the ones at the carwash but ive only done that 2 times in the last couple years.

I am going to the 3 inch lift route just due to the fact that I have a two old that rides with me and also my wife is like 5 foot. she would have to jump to get in if I had a six inch lift. I already have side bars to already..LOL
