I 100% agree. You can't dangle 20-25k in front of Joe snuff and expect him to pay that shit back 10+ year later saying "Oops Sorry" Their leadership and those who approved such documents/incentives should pay. No way should the HEAD of Incentives only receive 30 months jail time for millions of dollars given away, most of which unknown to be 'illegitimate' to the service member.

 

Yeah, that's the one thing about the Military that drove me nuts. They owe you money? Eh you'll get it in a few years or once it becomes "convenient". You owe them money? Well hope you had the funds in your bank account to cover it, otherwise you're now in debt.

Nah the Military was way more aggressive. I've seen dudes miss multiple paychecks as it was automatically used to re-pay their debts.
