I dunno, Superchargers aren't THAT unreliable, and if you keep the boost low you're not putting too much wear and tear on the engine

Well from what a race truck goes thru, seeing trucks with melted pistons and turbos or supercharger a with bearing failures.... No thanks not on sumthin that spends a lot of time in dirt. Raw horsepower is more reliable. The Tacoma superchargers are dialed down to keep em somewhat reliable. Put it this way, how long are you comfortable holding the engine wide open with forced induction bouncing off the rev limiter vs a na motor. It's basic mechanics more moving parts more problems

Sure if you have 5k just layin around to burn on somthing by all means buy a supercharger, personally I don't and would rather spend the money on more sensible things

No, you do make sense lol. And by the time I'm ready to drop a new engine in, the truck will probably be a dedicated offroad vehicle. Don't wanna be blowing the motor up after every offroad trip lol

Uhhmmm no.... Think about that for a second.....the shackle pivots how would it add arch?? It's boomeranged to allow for a lil more droop. These are just a little shorter than the DTF ones I have right now

Oh. It was a question lol, I wasn't talking shit lol. So in this case a shorter shackle will provide lift for SUA?

Yea if you have a tension shackle type setup(inverted) like the dmz kit for example. DTF kit has pretty long shackles which gives you a bunch of travel and does work freakin awesome, but being that my truck is still 4wd and I use it as such I need a lil more ride height/clearance.

Agreed. I'm about to call deaver to see if they have an AAL for another inch or two of ride height in the back. Or would I benefit more from a slightly shorter shackle?

I see those little studs all the time, what are they? Are they like markers for the sheet metal or?

they are called Clecos, they come in a bunch of different sizes and types. they are spring loaded and for putting into a hole in two pieces of sheetmetal when u let them go they draw the two pieces together. we use em in aviation a bunch, where they originated I believe. for every rivet hole you have you put one of these in as a temporary holder to keep your sheet in the right place. take one out blast a rivet go to the next etc etc. in the picture im using em to hold a slmall piece of aluminum channel underneath the shelf as a beam to keep the skin real rigid and not flex, im gunna rivet it in when im done... super handy little tools really

Ah I see, well that's fancy, I would assume they are reusable? They look a little more complex than just a one time use thing.

So they hold together two pieces of sheet metal (or other metal) until you weld it?
